Woolley & Wallis accepted the invitation from Moore Blatch solicitors to a game of croquet on the evening of Tuesday 12th August 2014. With the sea breezes blowing in from the Solent, three teams from Woolley & Wallis took up the challenge of a game of “Lymington” croquet with Moore Blatch’s Tom Lacey as the official umpire overseeing fair play and the local rules! The games commenced amongst the immaculate gardens and the beautifully manicured grass lawn behind Moore Blatch’s Lymington offices. Competition was fierce and every hoop was keenly contested together with much laughter and good natured banter!! With the scores tied, it was left to the skills of Simon Male, an Associate in the Farm & Rural department in Salisbury to strike the winning ball from considerable distance against the pin for a convincing victory 38 – 39.
