Lucinda Stopford from our Shaftesbury Branch organized a very successful Charity Winter Ball in aid of Lymphoma and Leukaemia Research. Lucinda tragically lost her cousin to this illness at the tender age of 11.
Ben Marshall, supported by friends including Lucinda Stopford, Holly Hacker and Georgie Strang also from the Shaftesbury Office ran a successful auction raising a staggering £9000! Items sold ranged from a leg of Ham to a day’s fishing on the River Avon courtesy of Lord & Lady Radnor.
However the star prizes perhaps unsurprisingly given the number of dairy farmers in the room was a load of concrete and a slurry tanker, tractor and driver for the day!
