Woolley & Wallis reported an excellent attendance at the 2016 Dairy Show at the Royal Bath & West Showground at Shepton Mallet on Wednesday 5th October 2016.
A fine and breezy day saw thousands flock to the showground and Woolley & Wallis were there to greet farmers & fellow professionals alike at our stand in the Showering Pavilion overlooking the main judging ring.
This year again saw an exceptionally high standard of dairy cows with the supreme champion being won by a Friesian but being closely pressed by both the Jersey and Brown Swiss.
Richard Nocton said” We are always delighted to support the Dairy Show and it is an excellent event that demonstrates the vibrant heart of British farming. At last there is some optimism in the industry with the upturn in milk prices and we can all hope that this rise continues.”
