Sunday 8th January saw Larkhill Racing Club Point to Point take place at Larkhill Racecourse, near Salisbury. This was the second meeting of the Wessex point-to-point season where 22 meetings are due to be held across the counties of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire from December to May 2017. Larkhill is one of the premier point-to-point courses and always provides a fair test for horses and riders.
The day saw an excellent number of entries and a day full of competitive racing with a huge crowd in attendance. Woolley & Wallis was delighted to support this event and sponsor Race 5, the Restricted which was won by V Neck. Sophie Clotworthy, from the Farm & Rural Team in Salisbury presented the prizes to the winning owner Charlotte Barber and the winning champion jockey Will Biddick.
