Early morning of Wednesday 7th June saw the Marlborough office of Woolley & Wallis host a collection of fellow professionals for breakfast to watch the first mid-week game of the 2017 Lions tour of New Zealand.
Over 40 people turned up early at Marlborough Rugby Club for a bacon & egg roll and a hot cup of coffee, ready for an exciting game - they weren’t let down. The game was tense with exciting phases but sadly for the Lions and their loyal supporters, the result didn’t go the right way with the Blues coming out winners 22-16.
Chris Powell said” This was a great opportunity to meet with fellow professionals who we work closely with. The Lions tours are very special and come around only every 4 years and we wanted to make the most of this most unique brand.
The growth of the professional advice and consultancy side of the business has been widely recognised as one of the firm’s great success’ of 2017. We work closely with accountants, solicitors and banks to ensure that our farming clients get the best possible solutions.”
