Our Farm & Rural department recently joined forces with the PKF Francis Clark Salisbury office to organise a farm walk and BBQ at the fantastic Rushall Organics Estate. Each firm invited a number of clients and professional contacts to attend the event which was hosted by the Wookey family.
The evening started with welcome drinks at the family’s events venue, Casterley Barn, with all the guests enjoying the incredible 360° views over the Wiltshire countryside. After the welcome speeches, Nigel and Joe Wookey gave guided tours around the organic farm including the grain store with its impressive state of the art computer system and some of the land. Having adopted an organic farming system since 1970, it was very insightful for all who attended with particular interest in their cultivation of spelt and the importance of clover in the organic system.
After the farm walk, everyone returned to Casterley Barn to once again enjoy the views accompanied by drinks and a BBQ.
The event seemed well received by all who attended and it was great to combine both Woolley & Wallis and PKF Francis Clark’s clients and contacts.
