The commercial department have sold a modern, mid-terraced business unit on the popular Wincombe Business Park which lies off the A350 just east of the Shaftesbury Town centre. Unit 24, which is situated within a small scheme of similar sized units, provides ground floor workshop/ storage space and a reception office totalling 777 sq ft together with basic mezzanine office space of 578 sq ft. The unit, which was available at an asking price of £115,000, was sold to a local investor. Agent, Rob Horton commented “….the freehold market for small business units is as strong as ever and the lack of supply is a real problem. Nothing is available in either of the Town’s two main industrial centres and this is having an upward pressure on prices when units do come to the market. If built, a new freehold scheme would undoubtedly be well received by the local market.”
