Times are changing fast, so is Legislation!

Woolley & Wallis have a strong team of experienced Chartered Surveyors who are armed with a deep knowledge of the matters that directly affect the rural farming community.

A number of our rural surveyors recently attended the regional conference of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). The topics covered were:

• Current and Future Farm Support, including the proposed new Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMS)
• The importance of reviewing farm structures such as Partnerships and Tenancy Agreements
• Residential lettings update, including the proposed removal of S21 notices
• Recent notable court cases.

Chris Cary, a Chartered Surveyor and Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers said, “it is important that we keep up to date with what is happening in our profession, and being members of the CAAV allows us to advise our clients on a wide range of current topics”. He went on to say that, “it is vital that we keep learning in order to best advise our clients and present ourselves as one of the premier firms in the region”.
