Stuckton is a peaceful hamelt which lies approximately 1 mile East of the Avonside town of Fordingbridge, within the Western boundary of the New Forest National Park. Stuckton is locally renowned for The Three Lions restaurant, whilst the neighbouring villages of Hyde and Frogham provide a primary school, village hall, public house, church, The Potting Shed cafe and a garden centre. Fordingbridge has an array of facilities to meet most everyday requirements, including shops, reputable primary and secondary schooling, doctor's/dentist's surgeries and sports facilities. Communications in the area are good. The B3078 crosses the forest to provide links to Junction 1 of the M27 for Southampton and beyond, whilst the A338 renders Salisbury and Bournemouth conveniently accessible. Mainline rail services to London Waterloo are available from Salisbury, Bournemouth and Southampton and there are airports at Southampton and Bournemouth. Stuckton is an ideal gateway for exploration of the thousands of acres of moor, heath and woodland that make up the North West corner of the forest and provide glorious walking, riding and cycling country.
A gravel drive from the lane approaches the house and provides ample parking and turning space for a number of vehicles. Alongside the driveway stands a timber framed CAR BARN measuring 6.36m x 5.12m.
The gardens are a most attractive feature of the property and at the front incorporate terraced lawns offset by established shrub beds, with steps leading down to a further area of lawn interspersed with a variety of shrubs and trees, including willow. A large patio area sits alongside the conservatory, from which a gated arch leads into the rear garden, where a full width terrace runs across the back of the house with a further gravelled seating area bordered by well stocked raised flower beds and a small orchard area. The plot extends to approximately 0.36 acre in total and is well enclosed with mature hedging and fencing.
