The pretty New Forest village of North Gorley lies on the very western edge of the New Forest National Park between the Avonside towns of Fordingbridge and Ringwood. Both can be conveniently accessed via the near-by A338 and both offer a range of shopping and recreational facilities. The A338 and A31 at Ringwood supply access to the larger commercial and employment centres of Bournemouth and Southampton respectively, where there are mainline rail stations to London (Waterloo) and international airports. The local community is well supported by a popular public house, The Royal Oak, and there are strong links with neighbouring Hyde and Frogham.
