Hale is one of a cluster of picturesque villages populating the north-western corner of the New Forest National Park. The village has a highly regarded primary school overlooking the green, which is also home to the local cricket team, as well as the cattle and ponies that freely roam this part of the forest. Neighbouring Woodgreen, Woodfalls and Downton provide a range of village facilities, whilst the Avonside town of Fordingbridge is approximately 5 miles away. The Cathedral City of Salisbury is readily accessible via the A338 and the nearby B3078 crosses the forest to pick up the M27 at Cadnam for access to Southampton. For the outdoor enthusiast Hale is well positioned as a stepping stone for wider exploration of the forest and the glorious heath, moor and woodland it has to offer.

To the side of the cottage there is a parking area sufficient for 2-3 vehicles and access to the SINGLE GARAGE with up and over door and personal door to the rear.

A picket fence encloses the pretty front cottage garden with gated access to the front porch. The principal section of garden is located at the rear of the cottage, where a patio adjoins the conservatory, with steps up to a further patio area. The lawn is bordered by well planted, colourful beds and a summerhouse with light and heating in the far corner is positioned to catch the evening sun. The garden adjoins neighbouring grazing land over which there is a lovely outlook.

New Forest District Council.

All mains services are connected. Heating is via an electric boiler and mains gas fired Aga.

Leave Fordingbridge travelling in a northerly direction on the A338. Enter Breamore and turn immediately right to Woodgreen. Once in the village continue past the Horse and Groom and village shop. Follow the road as it leaves Woodgreen, continuing for approximately 1 ½ miles until reaching Hale. Cross the cattle grid and the cottage will be located after a short distance on the right hand side.
