Property Description

A rare opportunity to purchase a wonderful amenity within the New Forest National Park comprising approximately 0.5 acre paddock with field shelter bordering Huckles Brook.

Originally part of a larger parcel of land that previously served as a nursery site situated in a delightful New Forest location bordering Huckles Brook with gently sloping paddock and a useful field shelter. As well as being appropriate for an incoming owner seeking a small holding paddock, the land could be suitable for a buyer wanting a rural 'retreat' for camping purposes or a mobile Shepherd's Hut from which to enjoy the splendid countryside of the immediate surrounding New Forest National Park, especially in the current climate.

Furze Hill is an extremely tranquil hamlet located in the upper North Western corner of the National Park and within close walking distance of the open acres of the New Forest, the perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast. The pretty New Forest villages of South Gorley and Hyde are both located about 1 mile away and between them are home to a popular Farm Shop (Hockeys Farm Shop) and The Potting Shed Cafe. The area lies midway between the Avonside towns of Fordingbridge and Ringwood. Both can be conveniently accessed via the near-by A338 and both offer a range of shopping and recreational facilities. The A338 and A31 at Ringwood supply access to the larger commercial and employment centres of Bournemouth and Southampton respectively, where there are mainline rail stations to London (Waterloo) and international airports. The outdoor enthusiast is well catered for by the unspoiled acres of the New Forest and the local community is well supported by popular public houses, The Royal Oak at North Gorley and The Forester's Arms at Frogham.

From Fordingbridge take the A338 towards Ringwood. After approximately 2 miles turn left into Lawrence Lane and proceed to the junction at the far end. Turn right in the direction of South Gorley and follow this road into the village. At the village Green turn left and follow the road towards Furze Hill for approximately 1 mile whereupon the property will be seen on the left hand side.
