LAND

The towns, villages and countryside around Longwaite Farm provide an extensive range of social and leisure activities, with excellent walking and riding. There is good local riding via bridleways and small country lanes, and the local estates of the Duke of Somerset, Longleat and Stourhead all sell permits to ride on their land. Golf can be played locally at Wincanton, Wells and Somerton. National Hunt Racing is within easy reach at Wincanton, with flat racing in Bath and Salisbury.
