Property Description

An attractive detached chalet style house with an attractive garden pleasantly situated on the edge of the popular village of Stoford.

Springfield is an attractive property which adjoins open fields. It has been in the same ownership for the past 23 years during which time it has been enlarged and exceptionally well maintained. The accommodation is in excellent order throughout and could be used in a variety of configurations to fulfil a number of requirements. It has UPVC double glazing and an oil fired central heating system.

A storm porch and front door lead to a hall where there is a shelved linen cupboard and a cloak/shower room. To the left of the hall there is a dining room which could alternatively be used as a bedroom whilst on the right of the hall there is a bedroom which has fitted furniture and both rooms have attractive square bays from which there are views across fields. The kitchen/breakfast room is extensively fitted and incorporates integrated appliances, including a Bosch oven, Hotpoint hob with extractor chimney above with fan and light, and an AEG microwave. There is also a Stanley range cooker which provides hot water and central heating and a cooking facility. There is also a recessed wood burner and french doors lead out to the garden with a stable door leading to the side covered carport. An inner hall could double up as a study, where there are stairs to the first floor with cupboards beneath and french doors in to the garden. The sitting room is a delightful room which overlooks the garden, into which there are also french doors. On the first floor there is a landing with extensive fitted wardrobes and storage in addition to a bathroom and the principal bedroom which is particularly light and airy and has a Juliet balcony from which there are views across fields.
