1A The Hollows is only a short walk form the centre of Wilton, which has numerous specialist shops, in addition to a weekly market on a Thursday, coffee houses, pubs and restaurants, doctors surgeries and a dentist. It is also well known as being the ancient capital of Wessex and also for the beautiful Italianate Church of St Mary and St Nicholas. It is approximately three miles away from Salisbury where there is a mainline railway station with regular services into London Waterloo. Notable nearby schools include Godolphin, Chafyn Grove, the boysand girls grammar schools in Salisbury. Wilton is a delightful town in which to live and nearby centres are easily accessible.
